University of Lucknow was established in 1921. The Lucknow University is recognized by UGC and is considered one of the top universities in north India. It offers various undergraduate. postgraduate & doctorate courses in different feilds.

University of Lucknow as recognized 48 associated colleges for the teaching of undergraduate courses. Some of these colleges have also been permitted to undertake postgraduate teaching in various subjects.


This University provides residential facilities to teachers, students and non-teaching staff. There are over all 13 hostels for boys and girls in the University. Kailash Hall and the New Management Girls Hostel can house nearly 600 girl students. University of Lucknow has Tagore Library. MBA Admission 2012 Important Dates / Notification:-

Eligibility for Admission:-

A Bachelor’s degree under the 10+2+3 system in any field of study awarded by a University or Institute incorporated by law and recognized by this University with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) in the aggregate shall constitute the minimum requirement for admission to the Programs. Candidates completing their Undergraduate degree requirements by June 30, 2011 can also apply as provisional candidates. However, they need to submit proof of passing the under graduation degree with stipulated percentage of marks by July 16, 2011.

Admission Criteria:-

The candidates for admission to the Program shall be selected through applicant’s performance in the CAT (COMMON ADMISSION TEST) to be conducted by the Indian Institute of Management from October 22, 2012 to November 18, 2011 at various test centers in India (Click here for CAT Advertisements 2010).

Suitable sectional cut-off depending upon relative performance in written test will be applied to shortlist the candidates to be called for counseling.

Reservation:- 

Reservation shall be applied in each program as per University / U.P. Government rules. The fee structure is subject to revision and the revised fee shall be applicable.

B.Ed Admission 2012:-

  • The minimum educational qualification requisite for the admission in B.Ed. Classes shall be
  • A graduate degree of University established by law in case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes
  • A graduate degree of University established by law with a minimum of 45% marks in case of other candidates.
  • Only those candidates will be allowed to appear at the JEE B.Ed. 2012 who have already passed the qualifying examination on the date of submission of their application for appearing at the JEE B.Ed. 2012.
  • Applications of all those candidates who have not passed the qualifying examination on the date of application will be rejected.
  • The application fee is non-refundable. Though every effort will be made to ensure that such candidates do not submit application forms. However, if any such candidate sends the application by post, his application money will not be refunded.

University of Madras was set up in 1857. It is one of the oldest and top universities in India. BANGALORE UNIVERSITY

Bangalore University  was established in 1886 in Bangalore. This is one of the oldest public university in India located in Bangalore, Karnataka State, India. The university is spread over a vast land of 1111 acres. There are over 50 post graduate courses offered here which are recognised by the UGC of India.

The Bangalore University gave birth to universities like Visvesvarya Technological University, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science and the National Institute Mental Health and Neuroscience. Candidates who have completed two-year Pre-University course with science of Karnataka State or equivalent thereto (CBSE & Plus 2) & have secured at least 50% of marks in the aggregate of all papers studied at the qualifying examination are eligible for admission to this course.

In case of SC/ST/Cat-I students, the minimum percentage of marks required shall be in aggregate less by 5%. Theory,

Bangalore University MBA / Master of Business Studies (Integrated) Admission 2012:-

Duration : 10 Semesters (5 years)

Eligibility:- Candidates who have completed two-year Pre-University Science course of Karnataka State or equivalent thereto and have secured at least 50% of marks in the aggregate of all papers studied at the qualifying examination are eligible for admission into this course.

Selection:- Preference should be given t o Karnataka s t u d e n t s with Domicile. Even after filling up of these seats, if the seats are vacant, a second counseling is to be make for the students who have studied in Karnataka State but who are not of Karnataka Domicile. If the seats are still not filled, then the 3rd preference may be given to students belonging to outside Karnataka State. Marks secured at PUC or equivalent examination shall be the role criteria for selection.

B.Com Admission 2012:-    

(a) Pass in the Two years Pre -University examination  (including Supplementary) examination conducted by the  Pre-University Education Board of Karnataka State (10+2 Pattern)  or equivalent examination thereto.

OR
(b) A pass in any of the following examinations considered  equivalent like:

i) Job Oriented Pre- University Diploma Courses Conducted  by the State Council for Vocational Education in Karnataka  or other states which are considered as equivalent to two years of P.U.C of Karnataka (10+2).

ii)Diploma in Business administration conducted by the Board of Technical Education, Karnataka  (10 + 3).
